Lechner Collection

At the SLUB you will find, among other things, photographs and letters by the Austrian journalist Wolfgang Lechner, who was responsible for the  cooking competitions and Wolfram Siebeck's column in the weekly newspaper DIE ZEIT for many years

The journalist Wolfgang Lechner has left to the SLUB Dresden all documents and images in relation to Wolfram Siebeck and the culinary events that were created during his professional career. Among them are about 600 photographs by Manfred Klimek for the ZEIT book Wolfram Siebeck: German Classics, 10 Top Chefs as Guests, a large number of folders and documents on individual books by Wolfram Siebeck, the ZEIT cooking competitions and correspondences with outstanding personalities from politics, culture and society on culinary topics.
