We offer academic authors and editors commercial-free publication opportunities in public ownership, which members of the TU Dresden can use free of charge. We are happy to support you in successfully implementing various communication formats while respecting authors' rights. Our goal is to establish a non-commercial, internationally competitive publication platform for the science location Dresden - become part of it!

Science organisations and research funders are committed internationally to establishing Open Access publishing as the standard. We, too, are committed to the quality-assured, free digital dissemination of scientific knowledge. To achieve this goal, we provide comprehensive support services for publishers and authors, which are free of charge for members of TU Dresden. For all other institutions, we are happy to make an individual offer:

    Qucosa

    You want to publish the results of your scientific work? Qucosa is the document and publication server of scientific libraries in the Free State of Saxony. It serves the non-commercial publication of first and second publications, the verification and archiving of digital documents and is part of the international Open Access movement.

    Long-term archiving with PDF/A

    In order for your scientific documents to meet the technical requirements for long-term digital archiving, they must be saved in PDF/A file format. The abbreviation "PDF/A" stands for Portable Document Format Archivable and was developed as a subtype of the regular PDF format specifically for the long-term archiving of documents.
