Publish own open access journals and conference proceedings
You would like to publish a quality-assured open access journal, a conference volume or an anthology and need support with the implementation? Then you are in good hands with us!
Become an editor of OA journals or conference proceedings
We support you in founding, managing and publishing your own OA journals or conference proceedings, as well as in switching from Closed to Open Access for your existing journals. We use the open source software Open Journal Systems, which maps the most important steps of the publishing process: Website design, editorial management, submission of articles, multi-step review process, publication of articles and more. We provide the platform for you, take care of the technical operation and support you in the implementation. The respective editors or editorial teams are responsible for the content and editing. If you have special wishes regarding functionality and design for your journal, we will implement them together if possible.
Our service for your publication
We offer you a comprehensive service for the OA publication of your scientific and scholarly journals and edited volumes:
- Technical support We take care of the technical set-up, operation and ongoing support of your journal, e.g. defining user roles, software updates, evaluations, etc.
- Quality assurance We provide support in configuring the review system, in complying with formal quality criteria and in checking for plagiarism.
- Visibility We help publishers with indexing in the DOAJ directory (Directory of Open Access Journals), in other databases and reference services, and with mandatory submission to the German National Library.
- Formalities We take care of the preparation of a correct imprint and data protection statement.
