Family record of the conductor August Julius Ferdinand Böhme - Mscr.Dresd.App.1912
August Julius Ferdinand Böhme (1815-1883) worked as a Kapellmeister in the Netherlands for a long time. He received his musical training in Leipzig and Kassel from Carl Friedrich Zöllner (1800-1860) and Louis Spohr (1784-1859), among others.
Unfortunately, more than 30 family album pages are missing (including Johannes Brahms (1833-1897), Edvard Grieg (1843-1907), Hector Berlioz (1803-1869) or Clara Schumann (1819-1896), who were still described in 1938 in a commemorative publication for Max Seiffert on the occasion of Kurt Taut's 70th birthday.
The Böhme family album in the Digital Collections and in the Kalliope collaborative database.
