SLUB Writing Consultation
Please note that this consultation appointment is exclusively for non-German speaking students.
Participants will receive the link to the virtual consultation room by e-mail shortly before the start of the writing consultation.
From fearing the blank page to text feedback and fine-tuning: in the writing consultation you will receive support and find competent contacts for your questions about academic writing. We help you to organize your individual writing process in the best possible way.
Typical topics of a writing consultation include, for example,
- Dealing with writing problems and writing difficulties,
- Identifying and narrowing down topics,
- Developing a question for your scientific paper,
- Individual time and resource management,
- Structuring a scientific paper,
- The development of an academic writing style or
- Receiving specific and exemplary text feedback.
And even if you would like to simply talk and share your thoughts about your current writing project - we will be happy to lend an ear!

Falk Seidel studierte Höheres Lehramt an Gymnasien an der TU Dresden und ist seit August 2020 im Referat „Textuelle Wissensvermittlung“ für die SLUB tätig. Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss der knapp einjährigen Weiterbildung „Schreibberatung“ am SchreibCenter der TU Darmstadt unterstützt er das Team des SLUB TextLabs seit 2024 auch als zertifizierter Schreibberater. Sowohl auf Deutsch als auch auf Englisch oder Französisch berät er Sie gern zu Fragen rund um das akademische Schreiben.
